Hello! Performed a mini-concert here with my daughters in support of @joebiden and @kamalaharris in a time when we need unity and compassion more than ever in our country and the world at large: 1 solo KV number and then two covers with the kids. I didn’t quite nail the vocal in “heart of gold” (there’s only one Neil Young !) but Delphine (age 8) sure slayed the drums (thanks @steezmeez for the drum lesson!) and Awilda (age 10) beautifully sang a @gillianwelchofficial number while I attempted to channel my best abstract David Rawlings. (full vid via link in bio.) These artists we respect to the utmost for the beauty they’ve gifted to the world in their music and activism. And I’m hopeful we can still channel that kind of beauty today and work hard at creating a safer and more just world tomorrow for the youth of today. Love, KV

In addition to today’s announcement of “Valentine,” Snail Mail has also announced a worldwide tour including US runs both in the fall of 2021 and the spring of 2022, with UK and European dates kicking off in February of 2022. Following Valentine’s release, her US dates begin on November 27th in Richmond, VA at The National. In February, Snail Mail will head to the UK and EU for 20 stops including London at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on February 23rd, Le Trabendo in Paris on February 25th and wrapping up at Paradiso Noord in Amsterdam on March 16th. Mere weeks before the world went into lockdown, King Krule had performed a handful of European shows which featured tracks from his critically acclaimed third album ‘Man Alive!’

Filmed by longtime collaborator and friend Reuben Bastienne-Lewis in Amsterdam and Paris during that short run of shows and other performances captured throughout the years, the near half-hour performance special offers fans a glimpse into a live tour that never was, while also reminding them of the artist’s unique stage presence and incredible performances delivered across his entire catalogue.

'You Heat Me Up, You Cool Me Down’ features a setlist of 17 songs that span the acclaimed artist’s entire discography including fan favorites “Easy Easy,” “Baby Blue,” “Out Getting Ribs” and more. In addition to the album’s upcoming digital release, the project is slated for a physical LP release on December 10th. A very limited amount of LP purchases will be bundled with an exclusive zine featuring tour and BTS photos curated by Archy.
